Wüsthof Gourmet series

Agile and versatile. The blades of the Gourmet knives are cut from stainless steel sheet X50CrMoV15 with a precision laser and then processed in 35 production stages. The edge is shaped to a 28° cutting angle, and the final finishing by hand by experts ensures exceptional sharpness and quick and easy cutting. Thanks to their extremely high hardness of 56 HRC, they are comparable in quality and sharpness to forged knives. Their lower weight and unique ergonomics make them very comfortable to hold, extremely balanced and strong, making cutting easier, which is easier on both the hand and the wrist. The handle made of special black plastic is triple riveted. Dishwasher safe and therefore extremely hygienic. The Gourmet series offers an excellent price-performance ratio and, with more than 40 different products, is just as useful for the home kitchen as a starter set or as essential equipment for the professional kitchen.

The Wüsthof Gourmet series is NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) certified for public health and food safety.

• Handguard - The ergonomic knife handle fits well in the hand and the curved handle tip prevents slipping. The robust handle panels are secured with stainless steel rivets.
• Tomato knife - The finely serrated edge of the tomato knife smoothly cuts through the firm tomato skin, while the split tip lifts the slices. The knife is also suitable for cheese and fruit.
• Garnishing knife - A special blade for decorative cutting of raw and cooked fruit and vegetables or for delicately dispensing butter, it is ideal for creative chefs.
• Full tang - The blade reaches all the way into the handle, providing reliable stability for the knife. It also acts as a counterweight to ensure the blade is balanced.
• Wave edge - The wave edge formed from the inside produces a clean cut and is suitable for large fruits, vegetables or roasts. The wide, long blade is ideal for bread and pastries.
